Dr. Rajpurkar is the Division Chief of Hematology and the Director of the Thrombosis Services at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She completed her medical training and residency in Pediatrics at Seth G.S Medical College, Mumbai University in India. She went on to complete her Pediatric and Pediatric Hematology Oncology fellowship at Wayne State University, Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Rajpurkar holds various leadership roles locally, nationally and internationally and is known for her expertise pediatric hematologic, bleeding and clotting disorders. She has developed the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and dedicates herself to expanding understanding, and improving medical treatment, for thrombosis and clotting disorders through research. In her spare time, she loves to garden, hike, listen to music, and read. She loves animals, especially cats.
